  • 4thwonder:

i didn’t expect most of the crowd to be middle aged people. i better not be the only fan who’s in early 20s.

  • ThePretzelHead:

  • 293874738:

the best band to ever come out of chicago…

  • buzztrucker:

@JinjaB123 Tortoise is a melodic and beautiful ambient musical group. Slipknot sounds good for metal. Different color horse.

  • ThisIDig:

Vibes are much too loud in the mix, and he’s rushing a bit

  • Salobatera:

    20:03 BEAUTIFUL

  • rabbidhedgehog:

Also, did anyone else notice that their guitar and bass look identical? how awesome

  • rabbidhedgehog:

I have no idea why the word Slipknot is being used on the comments of a holy video…

jk. But 1. They’re not even comparable and 2. Tortoise is actually talented and well trained musicians.

  • illogicaJB:

Simply amazing. I am in awe of this band.

  • TemplarioHenriques:

Stop the shit Slipknot his powerful and tortoise beautiful they are all great.

  • PotemkinMcNasty:

One of those bands that you always kinda think might just be pretentious over-production. Until you see them live. And then you’re blown away and buzzing for days. One of the few bands pushing music forwards.

  • TheLosthigh:

theirs this cool jazzy extra jazzy song online called “ass rape sigurspeed!”

  • TheLiesette:

andy from the office on vibraphone.

  • mrosey21:

  • builditwithlegos:

Wow I just found out about these guys yesterday, and I wish I had known what I was missing out on.

  • chaipowsrevenge:

one of my favorite bands – and this is a really great performance. Also, why are any of you people talking about slipknot? I’d really like an answer.

  • Egondv:

@JinjaB123 they are both bands consisting of several members, both use instruments, both bands are from america, both have performed all over the world, both make a living with their music, both are extreme in their music. Hey that wasn’t so hard? ……… but i think comparing your face to my ass would even be easier. Actually it’d be useless, theyre rather identical…

  • Egondv:

@Barbosa123 Why not? i dont like slipknot but it’s still better than 80% of the shit out there…. And hey, if there wasnt anything you disliked there wouldnt be anything you liked right? so thank slipknot for existing, helping you appreciate this :)

  • zaratthustra:

  • jasonspurs:

  • slopium:

@phishinvan to be fair, I said they were never THIS interesting. Don’t get me started, yes Iv’e heard a bunch of the dick’s picks and other bootleg shit from them, I just find this to be more dynamic and creative.

  • phishinvan:

    @chrisrazz7 Can’t forget Grateful Dead.

  • phishinvan:

@RiccardoNorris Pick up the newest issue of Modern Drummer. They have a great article on Tortoise. 2 kits are C&C Custom drums. And one of the drummers plays and old Ludwig Giant Beat kit.

I’m not totally sure which 2 kits they are using on this performance. Hope that helps.
