One other sad news by: Ronnie James Dio , one of the leading figures of heavy metal vocals, died yesterday at 67 years of age.

His wife, Wendy Dio , confirmed that “ today has broken my heart. Ronnie died in 0745 in the morning . ” He was suffering from stomach cancer last November and was being treated at a hospital in Houston, Texas.

Born in New Hampshire in 1942, He entered the music world with his own group, Elf, and then joined a Rainbow, the band of guitarist Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple.
