Yawn!! People, it’s getting tedious having vacous arguement about which artist is the greatest. It’s a subjective taste and should left at that.

EPMD was the illest crew until their business got caught up in the mix. I would have just split everything 50/50 no matter what instead of being shiesty setting up managament companies and the like by one’s self. Regardless both came out of the beef with a new outlook just too bad that they had to split up but at least we got some nice tracks from Hit Squad/Def Squad.

@Greave12 hell naw man u rlly don’t know hip hop…have u listened to the new shit they are making? could anyone that knows what hip hop is can consider that bullshit as hip hop ?? i don’t think so. if u ever wanna talk about someone that don’t know what hip hop is talk about them new ‘ cats ‘ 2day who are makin’ record deals like its nothing and they brag about it, but the peeps back in the day were fighting for it, and were representin it, now NWA might not be the best, but they were real !

  • Greave12:

@tbt4life It wasn’t hip-hop because they forgot the 4 elements of hip-hop, they forgot the community, they forgot about the bboys, the graffiti artists, the real dj’s, and the real mc’s. They left the rest of Hip-Hop behind to get ahead, they forgot Cool Herc, they forgot KRS-One, they forgot Rock Steady Crew, they forgot Mr. Wiggles, they forgot Afrika Bombataa, they forgot Seen, they forgot all of them and all of us. They weren’t expressing themselfs they were just making money, not Hip-Hop.

  • tbt4life:

@Greave12 whatever u say fool, them being agressive is ain’t their fault, they can express themself however they want, they had their own style of hip hop you should listen all the kinds of it so u can understand it better ..

  • Greave12:

@420Hacker Not because of what they spoke of but because of how they spoke of it. They use Motherfucker about 70 times, say Fuck the Police every line. It’s not WHAT they talk about it, it’s HOW they do that sends the negative message.

Learn what Hip-Hop is, it’s your substance and how you SPEAK. Much respect to you standing up for yourself though, keep believing what you believe, I’m not ganna insult you cause you just read me wrong. But next time, listen.

  • 420Hacker:

@Greave12 they spoke about their life, so they have to apologize for their life being too negative? eat a dick, pussy.

  • Greave12:

@ulasenor I will never consider NWA part of Hip-Hop, they are the whole reason the thug look and feeling and rap started and the whole reason why Hip-Hop has a negative image. They are forever enemy of Hip-Hop.

  • metrotheme:

Remove the sample from this track and it’s a tough listen. Parrish was a bit lost at this time in his career lyrically. He’s had some decent solo tracks, but he really wasn’t cutting it as a solo artist at this time. Scratch held it down on the cuts tho.

  • GHOSTRIDER36:
